Japanned fancy chair, rectangular back curved slightly outward and subscribing an oval. Inside oval is a caned area which supports an oval panel with a painted Asian scene. The caned seat has a slightly bowed rail, which connects to tubular tapered front legs with three sets of turnings and which turn outward at feet. Rear squared legs also turn out at feet. Straight H-stretchers. The chair is painted black and decorated with a grape vine design in gold.
