Description

Music stand w/ veneered 3-footed base, turned under feet, painted stripe outlining contours of base. A six faceted wood turning 5 3/4" high surmounts the base and terminates in a brass rod 32 1/4" long. The rod supports a rectangular, slanted, swivelling maple book rest, w/ painted stripes outlining decoration. A pair of jointed brass candle holders attaches to the bottom of the music rest at the extreme corners. Upper right corner of rest has 2 rows of 4 chisel marks.
