Description

Japanned fancy chair, rectangular back curved slightly outward and subscribing an oval. Inside oval is a caned area which supports an oval panel w/ a painted Chinese scene. The caned seat has a slightly bowed rail, which connects to tubular tapered front legs w/ three sets of turnings and which turn outward at feet. Rear squared legs also turn outward. Straight H-stretchers. The chair is painted black and decorated w/ a grape vine design in gold.
