Curved front, Federal style sideboard with tapered legs, two doors and five drawers. Constructed of mahogany with pine (possibly) as secondary wood. Bellflower inlays of satin wood appear four front legs. Intricate chevron inlay is around top edge. Less elaborate stringing surrounds the drawers and doors. Single lines of stringing outline the legs. Drawer brasses are oblong with oval centers and bale handles. There are locks on the large central drawer, two deep side drawers, and the lower doors.
The middle drawer has ben re-fitted with a drop-front, baize writing surface, and pigeonholes.
