Description

Two small wallpaper fragments with a four-petaled floral design in green within latched medallions, block printed on unfinished ground. From an 1841 Greek Revival House built by Joseph Langworthy in Hope Valley, Rhode Island. Found behind chimney wall. Very similar to the 'Provincetown Geometric' pattern that was reproduced by Dorothy Waterhouse.
