Description

Massive round kava bowl with four round legs and a hanging bracket, carved from one piece of wood. From Fiiji or Tonga. The inside of the bowl is smooth and polished. Kava is a drink used throughout the Pacific Islands for sacred, ceremonial and social purposes. It is refered to as yaqona in Fiji.
