Description

Classical style finial for architecture component (or curtain rod?). Carved wood pieces threaded on metal shaft. Urn shaped base has fluted sides. Middle section has four leaves extending in opposite directions. Top sectioni has ball with carved leaf sides and trumpet-shaped extension. All wholy covered with various layers of paints in browns, whites and grays, and covered with gilt. All finish flaked and partially missing.
