Large, diamond-shaped, earthenware tray with blue transfer-printed pastoral scene. Scene depicts men in small boats on a calm river. A wooden bridge and thatched-roof cottage is in the mid-ground and fields with sheep and the tower of a building in the distance. Floral borders on raised interior and exterior sides of the tray. Four small dishes with handles fit inside the tray (see 1993.597.2-.5).
