Description

Open four wheel carriage with wicker dash, sides and fenders, with a parasol top. The driver's seat and rear chaperone seat are upholstered in a beige corduroy. The base of the carriage is wood that has been painted black. The wheels are red with fire black striping. The wheels are rubberized. There is a wooden whip holder attached to the lower right corner of the dash. The whip is a wooden stick with the stubs from cut off branches left in place for a better grip. The wooden whip handle is stamped "JAS Forgie & Son Boston". There are elliptical springs on the front and rear axles.
