Description

Child-sized blue transfer-printed pearlware soup tureen with scene of two children playing, one with a kite, and the other with a hoop, man and dog in front of a tombstone, brick wall and buildings in background, surrounded by a foliate border with wide scroll handles. Scene on exterior of tureen and on lid. Lid has molded scroll-shaped knop and notch for ladle. Part of thirty-six piece dinner set.
