Description

A) Square, white, clear-glazed planter with four short legs, openwork sides, and a removable, plan earthenware inner container (b). Open sides composed of thin vertical "bars." Bars decorated with swags of flowers. Flowers tied up with bows at corners. Base impressed with indistinct decorative shield inside oval. B) Square, plain inner container. Clay is mottled from white to brown.
