"Sion House. / Sent of the Dukes of / Northumberland / on the Thames opposite / Kew Gardens. It is / a burgh square 18th / century house but / the grounds are very / beautiful. On top of the house is the Lion formerly / on Northumberland House / at Trafalgar Square. / We visited Sion House and / went over the gardens in / 1928. There are some very fine sequias, cedards and cedars of Lebannon / SW Phillips." (handwritten)
