Description

Round, small-mouthed, coarse porcelain jar (a) with lid (b). Jar unglazed high on shoulder, around rim, and on foot ring. Shoulder and sides of jar rounded in soft curve which tapers slightly at base. Sides decorated in 360 degree underglaze blue landscape scne including house, trees, fisherman, water, boat, mountains. B) Round lid with short cylindrical sides and a broad, overlapping top. Top and sides decorated with abstract designs in underglaze blue. Rim and interior of sides unglazed.
