Description

Porcelain sugar bowl with cover. Imari design. Cobalt blue, orange and gilt design leaves, tendrils, stylized flowers and abstract motifs on white background in three reserves, outlined in gilt and separated by gilt leaf sprays and pendant flowers on cobalt background. Gilt bands at top and bottom of design. Oval medallion with orange leaves and gilt tendrils on white background at base of white and gilt knop. Molded white and gold grotesque masks at each end. Shoulder with leaf and flower band in orange and gilt. Ovoid form.
