Description

Oval pasteboard bandbox (A) with lid (B) covered in paper. The paper on the body of the box depicts a pierced basket filled with a spray of flowers. Above is a festoon and drapery attaches to the handles. On the lid is a garden scene with a woman giving offerings to a cupid statue. Around the band of the lid is a pink and green border with stripes, cirles and the guilloche pattern. Printed in pink, red, varnish green and white on a blue ground.
