Fragment of wallpaper roll with the following printed on the label: "INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANGING PRESSED PAPERS Take one roll at a time and cut into requisite strips. Then paste said strips, using very heavy paste thereto, working it well into the paper but not allowing the strips to saok too long. Now trim the selvage accurately, using a stright edge and knife, but be careful not to crease the fold. The strip is now ready for the wall and must be put on with a soft brush or cloth, but never with a roller. Now take the second roll and treat as aforesaid, and every succeeding roll in a like manner until the job is completed. A better result is obtained by lining the wall.
