Description

French scenic wallpaper "Les Paysages de Télémaque dans l'île de Calypso". Twenty seven panels depict scenes from the story "Les Aventures de Télémaque," written by François Fénelon in 1699. Block-printed in eighty-five colors with 2,027 woodblocks. Printed in four greens, two browns, two pinks, two blues, orange, white and gray on a light blue ground.
