Description

Series XXV. Photographs, 1885-1993, undated (#24.299-24.311) includes photographs that date from the twentieth century residential period of the Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm to the years after the farm became the property of Historic New England. It includes Little family portraits (individual and group), photographs of the farmhouse, Christmas card photographs of family and friends, photographs of other houses in the Newburyport area, and images of family pets and farm animals. Photographs from the Historic New England period include photos taken before during and after the 1973 barn restoration, photos from the Big Barn grant completion report, documentation of archaeology work in 1991-1993, and copies of Little family albums. The series is arranged in fifteen subseries according to subject.
