A v-shaped feather pattern encircles the lid just inside the line. A small steam hole is located to the right of the knob. The dish has a cream background with a magenta pastoral scene on the bottom of the dish. A solid magenat line encircles the entire outer rim of the dish. A v-shaped feather pattern also encircles the dish just inside the solid line.
