Description

Dark stained wood; Chippendale-style back with splat pierced so as to form five conjoined bannisters that taper in center and become bulbous at splat shoe; crest rail and stiles are unornamented except for beading; straight chamferred legs (rear legs flare slightly out); arms curve outward and have turned arm supports; original tan brocade wool slip seat that lifts to reveal opening for a chamber pot.
