Description

Photograph of the Wiscasset Fire Society in 1886. Twenty seven men are lined up in front of the Congregational Church on High Street holding their buckets and with their salvage sacks on the ground before them. A fire carriage with the numbers 18?3 is visible at the center of the photo. Joseph Tucker and Richard H. Tucker, Jr. are in the photograph. RHT is the second man to the left of the pumper. Capt. Joseph Tucker is the third man to the left of the pumper. The last man on the left is Joseph P. Tucker, a cousin.
