Engraving in a gilt frame of the presentation of the Declaration of Independence. In the room where the signing was held, men are seated and standing with five major figures presenting the declaration to five other men standing behind a desk. Around the engraving are eigh smaller portraits of major political figures and the seals of twenty-six states. Major figures are identified at the bottom beneath the declaration.
