Description

Watercolor in a 3 in. wood and gilt frame of the ship "The Alliance" at port. Ship is headed into dock w/ only 9 of its sails still open. An American flag is at its stern and a white flag w/ a red dot, a blue and white striped flag, a red, white and blue striped flag, a red flag and a red and blue flag fly from two other masts. A windmill, docked ships and buildings are behind the ship.
