Description

The full color postcard features two large factories: the Burgess and Lang buildings. The building on the right has signs for the Knights-Allen Company Turn Shoes and the United Shoe Machinery Company. Inscribed on the back of the postcard is a note from W.S. Burgess to his aunt Hellen Adams, of Newport, Maine.
