Black wool dressing gown with cap sleeves. The dressing gown has ties at the neck and waist. The neckline and sleeves are decorated with black metallic thread sewn in a ripple pattern. Makers label attached at the neck, "Manahan Incorporated/280 Boylston Street, Boston." The back of the dress has an attached band at the center of the back. The black metallic ripples extend across the back of the dressing gown from the neck to the top of the arm pit.
