Brown wool women's evening coat with a fur collar. The coat has full length sleeves with puffs just above the wrist. The fur trim starts at waist level on the left side of the coat, goes up around the collar, which converts to a hood, and down the entire right side of the coat to the hem. The fur is short hair with mottled colors of brown, tan, and gray. The coat has a brown silk lining and a maker's label stitched in the collar "Manahan Incorporated 280 Boylston Street, Boston." The coat has a brown wool belt tie at the waist and an interior button at the neck. There is an inner pocket in the lining at the right breast. The back of the coat has two straight seams running from the armpit to the hem.
