A calf length black velvet women's evening coat with an attached hood. The coat has a single button and loop closure at the neck and full length slightly flared sleeves. The entire coat is lined with cream colored satin. There is a makers label sewn in the right side seam. "NRA We do our part manufactured under coat and suit code authority LQA 000839." The back side of the jacket falls straight from the shoulders.
