Two-piece peach colored women's dress with short sleeved bodice and an ankle length skirt. The bodice has a V-shaped neckline of cream colored lace and tulle. In the center of the bodice panel is a peach colored chiffon with four rows of iridescent beading across the top. The center panel is framed by two wide cotton bands that come down over the shoulders. The short sleeves are also made of chiffon with a band of beading and cream colored lace at the cuffs. The waist of the bodice is trimmed with a peach colored satin ribbon. The back side of the bodice has a V-shaped lace panel trimmed with iridescent beads at the base of the neck. There are two wide bands that come from each shoulder (one of cotton and one of silk) that match up with corresponding bands of fabric on the back of the skirt. In the center of the satin ribbon around the waist is a rectangle of iridescent beads. Sewn into the inside front edge of the bodice is a lace panel that falls onto the front of the skirt. The left panel is missing. The back of the bodice has eleven hook and loop closures and an additional four hooks to secure the ribbon waist band. The interior of the bodice has four striped of boning on the stomach and three on each side. The interior is lined with a cream colored satin. Attached to the inner side of the bodice is a stiff ribbon that goes around the waist. The skirt is comprised of several different layers and bands of fabric. The under-layer of the skirt is made form a heavy cotton fabric. Attached to the waist is an over-layer with a band of pleated chiffon, a band of iridescent beading, and a band of lace. The overlay falls from the waist to the knees. The back edge of the skirt is about 5 centimeters longer than the front edge, creating a little train. The back of the skirt has the same over-layer as the front except that it falls to the back of the calves. Attached to the waist (over the overlay) are two wide bands. A long band of peach silk (matching up to the silk band on the back of the bodice) and a long band of chiffon with a band of beading at the end. The skirt has seven snap button closures at the center of the skirt and a two snap button two hook closures at the waist.
