Women's dress

Description

Cream and navy floral patterned ankle length women's dress with matching belt and jacket. The material is a sheer cream colored silk with navy blue floral pattern. The neckline of the dress is bordered by an accordion pleat that lies flat. The collar ties at the front and has long ribbon ties. The sleeves are short and fold back and are bordered with accordion pleats. There is a u-shaped pocket over each breast, each of which is bordered with accordion pleats. There is a snap closure on the left side with six snaps and one hook and eye closure along the seam. Two seams run vertically from the pockets and end in pleats three-fourths of the way down the dress. The belt is made from the same sheer silk with a sturdier fabric composing the middle of the belt to give it strength. The inside of each shoulder seam has a snap closure attached to a string which, when snapped, forms a loop to hold the straps of an inner lining or slip in place. The back of the neckline continues with the folded down accordion pleats, as do the back of the sleeves. There is an embroidered cream belt loop on the right side of the waist. The back is composed of a panel inserted at the middle of the waist which extends vertically down the back and splits into two v-shaped seams on each side which extend down to the hem.

The jacket made of the same fabric has long sleeves and a box shape. The collar folds down and lays flat and is bordered by accordion pleats all around, except for the back of the neck. The bottom of the sleeves are hemmed and unadorned. The opening has no closure system. There are two u-shaped pockets on the lower part of the both sides of the opening. They are bordered by accordion pleats. The back of the jacket is completely unadorned except for the accordion pleating around the back edge of the collar.
