Description

Green and white silk and cotton petticoat. The petticoat is knee length. The outer layer is white silk and the inner layer is a soft, thin, green cotton. The waist has a hem wide enough for a drawstring to pulled through it. There are two vertical seams on the front of the petticoat that run from the waist to the first ruffle edge. The outer ruffle is unlined and wide. Three fourths down there is a horizontal band of cream colored lace with circular motifs. There is an inner ruffle that is unlined as well and is shorter than the outer ruffle. The back has a center vertical seam that is split from the waistband. At the top of the split both sides of the cream drawstring ribbon are hanging free. The same outer and inner ruffles continue from the front around to the back.
