Description

Long pink and white striped, long sleeved flannel cotton women's nightgown. The gown is primarily made of flannel with wide vertical pink stripes and thin vertical white stripes with decorative red threading running down the edges of the stripes in random patterns. The neckline has a collar that is trimmed with a decorative ruffled white material that has a scalloped red border and red dots around the border. There is a long central front split with three cream buttons. The long sleeves are gathered and puffed at the shoulder and the cuff which is trimmed at the top of the cuff with the same scalloped red and white fabric at the collar. The nightgown is long and widens toward the bottom. The collar continues around the back and just below the collar is a horizontal seam that has gathers below it. The back of the sleeves appear the same as the front and the rest of the nightgown is very plain.
