Shawl

Description

Long rectangular shawl made of black net and metallic pieces folded around the net in geometric patterns. All four sides are sewn around the edges with black thread to finish the edges. The central design is a large diamond that takes up the entire center of the shawl. Inside the diamond, it is divided in half from top to bottom and one half has tree designs pointing away from the center and the other half has the same designs pointing in the opposite direction. Outside of the diamond in both directions there are wide stripes running vertically made by lines of folded gold metal pieces. Inside of each stripe is a repeating pattern of geometric designs. Each stripe contains one repeating pattern but the stripes on either side of the shawl are different. Designs include geometric tree shapes, geometric human figures and crosses. All of the shapes are made by folding the tiny strips of metal around the netting and those dots all merge to make a design. The back of the shawl looks identical and is reversible.
