One album of 80 black & white photographs with a few postcards. Title reads "Yachting and Motor Trips Maine and Mountains July 17th to Aug 31st 1913." Presumably a family album of summer yachting trips in Maine and motor trips to other places. Detailed pictures of boating parties on yachts, fishing, motor cars full of family going on a ride, picnics along the way, and family groups posed on the porch during summer. There is some identification of people, pictures from Castine, Maine and Mt Battie near Camden, Maine. Prior to being given to Historic New England, album was bought by Oliver L. Chase at Katherine Smith dispersal sale July 26, 1975.
