Description

Women's black straw hat. The hat has a slightly rounded crown on top and its brim is folded up in the back and is stitched tot he side of the crown. The straw is black and shiny and is stiff. The brim is edged with a narrow border of black silk that wraps underneath the brim. Around the bottom of the crown there is a wide cream ribbon which is wrapped by a band of black silk on the bottom half of the ribbon. Around the top edge of the crown there are five cream bows with a black silk piece wrapped around the middles of the bows. On the center front, there is another bow attached to the cream and black ribbon border on the bottom edge of the crown. The interior of the crown is lined with black silk that is pleated around the top.
