Description

This album contains 44 2 x 4 inch snapshots of buildings at the Norris G. Osborn Prison Farm in Enfield, Connecticut, formerly a Shaker community. Each view is carefully annotated with notes regarding construction and interior conveniences. Two letters are included from the donor at Aetna Insurance Company discussing the ownership of the property and sale to the state of Connecticut. There is also an index to album pages.
