The decal for "A John Alden Store" features Priscilla Alden, John Alden's wife, spinning flax on a wheel. Printed in three colors, the decal is in the shape of a medallion with a banner beneath it. John Alden Stores sold groceries. The item verso has directions for applying the decal to a window. The decal was manufactured by The Meyercord Co., Chicago, Illinois.
