Description

An album of photographs from Springfield, Massachusetts, circa 1896-1906. The majority of these photographs were taken on one block in Springfield: Summer St., Federal St., Worthington St., and Kibbe St. These photographs include interior and exterior views of residences. There are also several photographs of Henry Hammond Ahl's studio on 317 Main St. and William F. Moseley's studio which was located at the corner of Chestnut St. and Harrison Ave. Another Springfield view is of Forest Park. There are also an interior and an exterior labeled as being in Agawam. This album possibly was owned by Ahl, or by a member of his wife's family, the Curtis', who lived at 307 Worthington St.
