Description

One of six albums documenting colonial exteriors, interiors, doorways, cottages and colonial details dated 1916-early 1920's. Albums are from architect Bruce Elwell most likely during his years at Grandgent & Elwell, based on photograph dates and imprints on the back of various photos.

57 8"x10" black & white photographs of colonial exteriors and interiors from Salem, MA and vicinity. Titled "Miscellaneous Colonial Photographs Exterior and Interior from Salem and Vicinity. From the library of S. Bruce Elwell Architect, 18 Newbury Street, Boston, MA."
Most are presumed to be taken by Miss Mary Northend. Book is dated 1924. Photos dated from 1916-1924.
