Account book of H. K. Keith & Co., with recorded sales from June 30 to October 25, 1856. Entries list daily retail sales, primarily for food items, clothing, dyes, soap, tea, and textiles. Also included are dyes, varnishes, spirits, and oils. Majority of sales appear to take place on Saturdays.
The book's spine and corners are finished in soft leather; blue pages are inscribed in black ink. 8.75 x 13.125 x .75 inches.
