Description

This album documents "Buena Vista," the Isaac Fenno House in Roxbury, Massachusetts. This small album is of particular interest for its interior views, which feature statuary and paintings by well-known Boston artists of the 1870s through 1890s. The donor, Almira Fenno Gendrot, was a pupil of William Morris Hunt, and her second marriage was to Boston painter Felix Gendrot. The album consists of approximately twenty 4 x 5 inch photographs of interior and exterior views.
