Manuscript business account book, 1813 to 1817, kept by young furniture maker Talcott Curtiss of Granville, Hampden County, MA, to record the wide range of items he built for named customers on specified dates for reported prices, as well as his purchases of cherry, chestnut, hemlock, and pine boards, and (less frequently) tax payments, house rental, and items taken in credit (including foodstuffs).
