GUSN-194667
This consist of approximately 50 leaves, mounted on each side (rather casually) with a variety of black and white (few early color prints, 1950s) photographs depicting social occasions at Beauport, in Eastern Point, Gloucester, Massachusetts. Dates span the 1940s and early 1950s. People are lavishly represented, some in fancy dress, some in "repose" and otherwise enjoying leisure. There is some material that documents the appearance of the house during this period when it was owned by the McCanns. The album also includes packets of loose snapshots. and a number of letters to "Connie and Joe" (McCann). See # 132 to which this is a companion. Some letters and photos have been removed to Beauport, Sleeper-McCann House, Personal Album #2.
