Description

Red leather photograph album (21 1/4x14") with gold embossed lettering and case of Beauport, the Sleeper-McCann House in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Found on site and removed in 1991. Compiled circa 1936 by Mrs. Charles E. F. McCann. Captions to the photographs and articles were provided by the compiler. The album begins wtih photographs titled "exteriors of house"; continues with photographs of interiors by room name. Articles include those from Country Life, House Beautiful, New York Times, Boston Sunday Herald, Antiques, and Boston Evening Transcript.
