Description

An album depicting the rooms of the Royall House, Medford, Massachusetts as restored by Joseph Chandler. There are 14 leaves, some of which have photographs on both sides. Photographs by Howard Shurtleff, brother of Arthur Shurcliff (the landscape architect), who, in turn, was the father of the donor, Mrs. Franz Ingelfinger of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Also included is a detailed view of the doorway, and a view of the house after restoration. Good quality views.
Includes correspondence between Abbott Cummings adn MRs. Shurtcliff regarding the donation and dating of photographs.
