Matthew Bridge, a member of the Massachusetts state legislature and senate, gave this two-story Georgian-style house on Green Street in Charlestown, Boston, Massachusetts to his son Nathan, a prominent businessman, on the occasion of his marriage to Elizabeth Bartlett in 1814.
