View of Chelsea Bridge looking south

Description

Repairs are made to the Chelsea Street Bridge that connects East Boston with Chelsea, Massachusetts over the Chelsea Creek. Workers build scaffolding to work on the piers of the truss bridge. On the roadway, men appear to be examining the components of the truss. The tugboat, Dewitt C. Ivins, can be seen at dock underneath the bridge.
