This exterior view shows the Jonathan Corwin House, also known as the Witch House, and the single-story apothecary George P. Farrington added to the house around 1856 on 310 1/2 Essex Street in Salem, Massachusetts from the North Street side. Jonathan Corwin served as a magistrate and judge during the Salem Witch Trials of 1692.Several stores and their signage are seen, including the Wah Sing Laundry, J. N. Gould, plumber, and C. Marcell, fine shoe repair.
