Lowell House, Roxbury, Mass.

Description

A view of the front façade of the Lowell House in Roxbury, Massachusetts from below the hill on which it sits. Two wide gabled bays punctuate the façade and alternate with narrower recessed sections. The entrance is nestled between the two bays, and wooden stairs with railings lead up to the front door. A battlemented tower with crenellations and merlons juts out from the first floor of the right bay. Clothes hang from a line to the far right of the image.
