Description

Two men sit on the ruins of the Bank of North America at 75 Franklin Street at the intersection with Devonshire Street that was destroyed in the Great Fire of Boston on November 9-10, 1872. The remaining sections of the structure are surrounded by rubble. Other devastated buildings can be seen in the background.
