Beacon St., opposite the Boston Public Garden, Boston, Mass., undated

Description

Unmounted image of Boston's Public Garden and Beacon Street. The brick rowhouses across from the Garden are three to four stores and each is capped with a different style dormer window and roof. Many carriages wait can be seen stopped at the entrances. The trees lining the Garden are without leaves, suggesting this image was taken in the late fall or winter.
